Let’s start with the new “Drinks” feature. Restaurant city came up with new ingredients like ice cubes and coffee bean for the drinks category. Waiters/Waitresses can now serve drinks only after you purchase the fridge or soda dispenser.

*Important: There’s some misconceptions that the soda dispenser/fridge are only decorative items. The fact is: they’re not. It can only work when you place them at the right place.

When you place it at a corner where your staff can’t reach, the drinks won’t be served (so don’t put it there.)

The soda dispenser/fridge work just like your stoves so place it near the dining table! Neither machine is faster than the other  so the choice is up to you.

New dish selection feature

This allows you to select 2 dishes. So the golden ring highlights your choice.

However, you can still serve even with one dish.

Music feature

This is pretty trivial. You can choose the songs to play in your restaurant. For me, it don’t matter because I toogle the music off. If you’re starting out, get other functional items like arcades and furnitures first before you get music.

I don’t cover everything. Just some pointers which may be useful to you. Just drop your questions if you got any. I’ll try to reply them (if I can answer). Enjoy the game~

REQUIREMENTS

1) You need internet (this is stupid)

2) You need to have a pair of drum sticks. For starters, 5A drumsticks (basic pair) You can get them in music showrooms or anywhere. I like vic firth and it costs around $10 plus for a pair.

Introduction

I’ have been playing drums for almost 3 years now since I was like 15. I learned drums from Yamaha ( a great deal from my drum teacher)  for one and a half years which I later quit due to major examinations in high school. Now I play drums on my own.

My point is that it is possible to start drumming on your own but in some point in your drumming life you may need to consult some pros to speed the process up. Most importantly, drumming requires perseverance so don’t give up.

Do you need a drum to play?

Not really. I start out playing on my pillows and bolsters. Just assign them accordingly. Like cushion for high toms, bolster for hi-hat. Blah blah. Some people air drum.

Of course, having a drumset will be better so do save up for one.

To the main part- Resources on net.

The following resources are totally free but of course they do advertise their products on their website. You don’t have to buy anything to view these lessons. (They don’t pay me anything but I’m just trying to help those who wants to have resources to start out) The good thing is that they don’t spam me with offers or whatever.

1) Freedrumlessons.com This website is amazingly awesome and it’s really great because they classify music into different genres like Rock, Funk, Jazz and Latin.They offer drum theory too. (View them because theory enables you to read scores and transcriptions to play your fav band grooves) They have playalongs too. I highly recommend this site to all (beginner, intermediate and advance)

Here’s my suggestion. Start out with rock. (YAY!) This  genre of music is mostly made up of straight beat. (Meaning there is little funny or odd kind of counting) So, it will be easier. Then, you can move on to others. Master all the rudiments! They are magical! (Trust me on this.) Latin is for advanced or intermediate  players.

2)Jack Bennett. This dude help me lots! He gets my creativity going. There are monthly newletters which introduces new grooves that are cool. You can subscribe to it to gain access to the free lessons.

Introduction: The goal of the game is to get a bigger restaurant with more of everything. (Staff, decorating and designing your restaurant, level up dishes, more trophies, …)

Qns: How do I get ingredients?

Ans: When you visit your friends restaurant, you will get 1 random ingredient. (You can only do this once) Meaning, more friends=more ingredients.

You get 1 ingredient everyday when you on the application.

You get another if you answer the food quiz correctly.

Restaurant City has added a new feature so if you urgently need ingredients, you can buy it from the farmer (or whatever you call her) the corner of your restaurant. Just hold and drag your restaurant down to see her completely.

How to earn more money?

Ans:

Firstly, create a secondary/fake account. You can then trade locked ingredients without rejection. (Obviously, you are trading with yourself)  Another option, is to add and then delete away the contacts which I felt that it’s quite tedious. Anyway, it’s up to you.

Having another account also means an extra income. You can buy more expensive items and send the gift to your primary account. You can send cheap stuff like tables and tiles to the secondary account. (So you can earn trophies – Santa claus (Gift 5000 items), becoming a trading buddy(Trade 5000 ingredients) )

I know the picture above proves nothing but you get my point.

To make your restaurant run faster, toggle the quality found at the top right hand corner. The quality may suck a little but don’t matter when you’re away from your seat. The speed difference will be significant if your computer speed is slow.

So how do you get more restaurant city friends?

You can join the application group – Restaurant City Marketplace or any other groups that allow you to trade and add friends. Just add those who wrote “Add me!” on the wall.

Leave your restaurant running even if you log out of facebook  so you can earn $2000. (which is the maximum)

The disadvantage is that your ground will be filled with trash. the next time you enter your restaurant.

Who cares? You just have to pick them up to earn extra money (+2)  and points (+1)!!! You do this for the trophies!

However, you can choose to block your door to prevent this from happening. No one can enter your restaurant by this method.

Qns: How to level up quickly?

Ans: Just leave Restaurant City on while you do other stuff like watching TV, blogging, pooping, eating, napping…

Whatever. Just make sure you don’t leave it on until all your cooks and waiter are dying on the floor. (Your rating will drop drastically)

Trade ingredients to level up dishes so you can get to another level quickly. (You’ll have more staff and a bigger restaurant area)

Level 1 dish – +1.0 gourmet point

Level 2 dish – +1.2 gourmet points

Level 3 dish – +1.4 gourmet points

Level 4 dish – +1.6 gourmet points

Level 5 dish – +1.8 gourmet points

Level 6 dish – +2.0 gourmet points

How do I change the name of my restaurant?

Some of you asked me this question. This is actually relatively easy.

Step 1: Click on the “Decorate this building” button on the bottom left of the screen. (It’s just above where your friends are at.

Then, then click on the “Edit” button once and press backspace until your old name is gone. Type in the new one and click on the green arrow.

Tada! You’re done!
